John Nelson served as both the TCIS (2005-09) and GSIS (2009-11) assistant headmaster. Prior to coming to Korea, John and his wife Kathleen served in two faith-based international schools in Japan from 1981-2004. Their four children are graduates of international schools in Asia.
Mr. Nelson’s background includes both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in secondary education. His undergraduate study focused primarily on the mathematics content area, with minors in physical education and biblical studies. Graduate study and beyond has focused on Christian organizational leadership.
