Welcome from the Head of School of Academic Affiars

As a parent, one of the most significant decisions you will make is where to send your child to school. With so many options available, the process can feel overwhelming. You are likely considering every possibility to ensure your child has the greatest opportunities for growth and success in the future.
I encourage you to choose GSIS for several compelling reasons. First, our school’s mission is both powerful and distinctive: “GSIS cultivates internationally-minded learners who lead and serve for the glory of God.” This mission guides everything we do, shaping students to develop strong character, a global perspective, and a heart for service.
Second, GSIS offers a strong and rigorous academic program. As graduates of an IB World School, our students become capable, confident, and lifelong learners prepared to excel at university and beyond. They are equipped not only with knowledge but also with the critical thinking, creativity, and resilience needed to become pioneers in their chosen fields.
Finally, there truly is something for everyone at GSIS. Our Secondary Principal often reminds students, “No passengers!”—a phrase that reflects our commitment to engaging every learner fully. We educate the whole child, recognizing that each student is created in God’s image and uniquely gifted. Those who excel in math and science can take advanced courses and join robotics, coding, or other STEM co-curriculars. Students passionate about the arts can study DP Music while performing in the school’s annual play or musical. Whether their strengths lie in athletics, humanities, or creative pursuits, every student has the opportunity to grow, contribute, and thrive at GSIS.
“If it is Christian, it ought to be better.”
- Jerry Falwell, Founder and former President of Liberty University

At the heart of GSIS is our dedication to discipleship—walking alongside students as they grow in wisdom, faith, and character. We believe that education is not only about developing the mind but also about shaping the heart.
Guided by Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old will not depart from it, " GSIS partners with families to nurture young people who live out their who live out their faith and lead with integrity wherever God calls them.
