The Love of Learning
Our Elementary and Secondary Libraries are located in the Main Building, GSIS’s library is a whole school facility that serves as a research, reading, and creative hub. Our library offers a collection of print and electronic resources in English, Korean, and other languages. We offer flexible facilities that can be used by individuals, and large and small groups.
Every year through our “Visiting Author Program”, the library hosts authors and illustrators who extend and enhance our students’ learning.The library staff regularly assist our school community with research and inquiry, organise school events and seek to inspire a love of reading.
GSIS Library: Inspiring Minds and Growth
The GSIS library programs support the students and faculty of Gyeonggi Suwon International School by providing access to a variety of resources which expand knowledge of curricular concepts, encourage reading for enjoyment, and enrich cultural, intellectual, and spiritual growth. The libraries are committed to selecting and acquiring print, digital, and online resources to equip students with the skills to become effective and discerning users of resources and information in the 21st century.
Elementary Library Hours
Monday 7:30am -3:15pm I Tuesday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm
The library is currently open to parents after school from Tuesdays to Thursdays between 3:30 p.m to 4:00 p.m.
Secondary Library Hours
Monday 7:30am -3:15pm I Tuesday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm
